Excess Line of Business should pull into the proposal, not only Umbrella Line of Business

Proposal Builder does not pull a line of business if it is listed as Excess in AMS360, but it will pull Umbrella. That's great, except we all know that there is a difference between Umbrella and Excess and AMS should be able to reflect an Excess policy accurately and still have it pull into Proposal Builder. Interestingly, the proposal builder overview lists both Umbrella/Excess so you would think it could pull Excess. Thank you!

Thank you, Eric! Vertafore Support had told us this wasn't an option when we ran into the issue, so I'm happy that your provided the information you did. We were able to fix the issue and get the excess option to work. Thanks again!

Hey Erin, Proposal Builder uses the AMS360 "System Data Entry" to determine which tables to include in the sections, then each section is assigned a "Line of Business" to make sure policy information routes to the correct place. This means the Default Umbrella Section will ONLY map to a Umbrella Line of Business. Likely, you have a mismatch between your Section LOB and what in the one of the policy. You'll need to create a new Section with the Umbrella/Excess Data entry, then assign the Excess LOB to the section. I've attached a screenshot of what I mean. Additionally, there's a helpful Did You Know video that outlines how this works in more detail called "Understanding AMS360 Data Mapping", you can find it here: https://help.vertafore.com/ams360/content/releasenotes/2019/proposal_builder/didyouknowpb.htm
